We don't sell, rent, fold, spindle, or mutilate any of the information we collect, and require our partners to do the same.

We have strict no-spam policies — our hosting service wouldn't approve — and any communications that are unrelated to a gift delivery or your account are strictly opt-in.

When you subscribe to the Buy My Affection gift delivery service, we ask for (or retrieve from our partners) your email address, a password, your name, your postal address, and your telephone number. We use this information to communicate with you concerning the administration of your account, and during the gift delivery process to notify you of progress and to resolve any problems. As these functions are necessary to proper account administration and gift delivery, we do not offer an opt-out from such data collection or communications.

When you purchase a gift for a Buy My Affection member, we ask for your email address, name, telephone number, credit card number, and information to confirm the credit card belongs to you. We use this information during the gift delivery process to notify you of progress, collect payment, and to resolve any problems. As these functions are necessary to proper gift delivery, we do not offer an opt-out from such data collection or communications.

In no event will we release your personal information to anyone except if it's related to a gift delivery, or paying for said delivery.

We will use any of the personal information we collect to run or expand our business. All communications unrelated to a gift delivery or the administrationof your account are on an opt-in basis, and you can change your mind on this point at any time.

When you inquire with us regarding us or our business, we use your email address to answer your inquiry.

We use the information we collect for research into how people use our service.

Buy My Affection makes all commercially reasonable efforts to protect your personal information from loss, unauthorized access, misuse or theft. We use a secure server, protected against viruses and attackers, and encrypt all transmissions of personal information.

Only those Buy My Affection employees who have a legitimate business purpose for accessing the personal information collected by us are authorized to do so. Unauthorized access to or use of personal information by an employee is prohibited and constitutes grounds for disciplinary action. In addition, our management systems are configured so as to block or restrict employee access from those without access privileges.

Buy My Affection's gift delivery partners are held to data protection policies and non-disclosure agreements. We make our partners put up a $5,000 bond against any data leaks.
